Qatar to bid for 2022 World Cup
It is expected that England will get the 2018 cup, and that the United States will get the 2022 World Cup, but the tiny Arabian nation of Qatar is expected to put up a strong and extravagant bid for that 2022 World Cup. The Qatar 2022 bid has released their proposal for five of the stadiums and the surrounding areas, and as you would expect, it is awesome:

As awesome as all those stadiums looked, my question is, what the hell would they do with them, if they were to be built, after the World Cup is over? Aside from the one that had a shopping center and offices, they would have 4 vacant stadiums sitting there. Unless Qatar has some amazing soccer league I’ve never heard of. It doesn’t make alot of sense other than hosting a World Cup to build those stadiums.
Yeah that’s a good question. I’m assuming 1 would be the stadium for the national team from then on, 1 for track or something, and they’d find a way to incorporate the one that had the shopping centre by it. But I’m sure they’d write off some of it as they were showing off the country for tourism or something.
By the way congrats on being the 1,350th comment. Sadly there is no prize.
